Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now. It came highly recommended. We stopped by for their lunch specials. It was pretty packed when we arrived, but luckily there was no wait to be seated. Ordered the 32. Sauteed String Bean with Beef Lunch Special, 3. Kung Pao Chicken Lunch Special, 73. Sauteed Beef Filet with Black Pepper Sauce Lunch Special, and 24. Eggplant & Ground Pork with Spicy Bean Sauce Lunch Special. Our favorite dishes were the string bean with beef and sautéed beef filet with black pepper sauce. Both dishes were very tasty and had that special "wok-hay" flavor. The kung pao chicken also tasted good, but not enough "wok-hay". The eggplant dish was our least flavor. It was very watery and super bland. They also offer white or brown rice. Most Chinese restaurants only offer white rice so it was nice that they have a brown rice option. Service was great. The servers were very attentive and food arrived very quick. They offer you white chocolate dipped fortune cookies at the end of the meal. Forgot to take a picture of the cookie.

This has been a family favorite since I was a child! I love the family style format because I am able to try different dishes. We always make sure to add the honey walnut shrimp and the egg with shrimp to our order. In addition to eating here with family, it's also a great spot to get together with company workers for lunch or dinner. The service is always pretty quick and you can expect fortune cookies at the end of your meal. Would definitely recommend!

If you're in the area this is the best Chinese Food / Restaurant in town. You will not be disappointed. Service is on point food is on point beyond amazing. I highly suggest you call and RSVP because this place sure gets packed. It's party and a feast when you come but the atmosphere is amazing.

If you are missing Panda Inn in Pasadena while is under construction we found this gem in south Pasadena. I haven't been here for decades as I always forget about it. But it is delish and has the best lunch specials that include hot and sour soup and rice. Always bustling with regulars - dinner is a great Cantonese ala cart Chinese menu which has everything from Peking duck to all your normal favorites. Really friendly service too!
